POSITION: P.O.D. CLERK LOCATION: STARTING DATE: Soonest REMUNERATION: Dependent upon prior experience ENTRY CRITERIA: QUALIFICATION: Appointment based on experience & potential to do the job REQUIRED Previous experience as a P.O.D. Clerk would be advantageous EXPERIENCE: Customer care essential REQUIRED Computer Literacy (MS Excel) essential SKILLS: Data capturing Excellent communication, both with external as well as internal customers REQUIRED Speed and accuracy are prerequisites ATTITUDE: Excellent time-keeping & time management Excellent work attendance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 1. Checking returned PODs, ensuring they are properly completed and contain the required information or documentation 2. Recording of POD information manually or by scanning into the system 3. Forwarding of PODs within the agreed time and in a controlled manner to Customers 4. Following up timeously on any outstanding PODs 5. Checking Customer statements, ensuring they are delivered in time and a receipt obtained 6. Answering Customer queries on deliveries and PODs 7.
